The Challenge

Centralised Controls. Stagnant Communities.

For years, the development of Ogun State’s 20 Local Government Areas has been heavily bottlenecked. Statutory allocations meant for grassroots infrastructure, local roads, rural clinics, and neighbourhood welfare have been micro-managed by a centralised state apparatus at Oke-Mosan.

This top-down model has turned local councils into administrative onlookers. It has stifled local economic growth, left rural and border-community roads in disrepair, and compromised the welfare of local government workers and primary school teachers.

The LADO Strategy

Direct Funding. Local Power.

A LADO-led administration will dismantle the centralised allocation model and establish constitutional financial independence for every council area in Ogun State.

Operational Execution

Our 3 Core Directives

01

Full Financial Autonomy Within 100 Days

Within the first 100 days in office, Hon. Ladi Adebutu will sign a binding executive social contract guaranteeing the transmission of federal statutory allocations directly into the independent bank accounts of all 20 local government councils—without state deductions, hidden levies, or administrative delays.

02

Public Service & Worker Welfare Reforms

By protecting council revenues, we will guarantee steady salary payments, settle outstanding promotions and allowances, overhaul primary school teacher benefits, and ensure senior citizens no longer have to beg for their earned local pensions.

03

Decentralised Community Project Budgets

Local government chairmen and ward councillors will hold public, community-led town halls where residents vote on immediate infrastructure priorities—from primary healthcare posts and clean boreholes to feeder roads and local market stalls.

The LADO Guarantee

“True local government autonomy is not just a policy; it is the ultimate shield for the common citizen. When your local council is financially empowered, your community is secured, your roads are graded, and your local economy thrives independently.”

— Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu
