The Challenge
For years, the development of Ogun State’s 20 Local Government Areas has been heavily bottlenecked. Statutory allocations meant for grassroots infrastructure, local roads, rural clinics, and neighbourhood welfare have been micro-managed by a centralised state apparatus at Oke-Mosan.
This top-down model has turned local councils into administrative onlookers. It has stifled local economic growth, left rural and border-community roads in disrepair, and compromised the welfare of local government workers and primary school teachers.

Operational Execution
Within the first 100 days in office, Hon. Ladi Adebutu will sign a binding executive social contract guaranteeing the transmission of federal statutory allocations directly into the independent bank accounts of all 20 local government councils—without state deductions, hidden levies, or administrative delays.
By protecting council revenues, we will guarantee steady salary payments, settle outstanding promotions and allowances, overhaul primary school teacher benefits, and ensure senior citizens no longer have to beg for their earned local pensions.
Local government chairmen and ward councillors will hold public, community-led town halls where residents vote on immediate infrastructure priorities—from primary healthcare posts and clean boreholes to feeder roads and local market stalls.
